Judge Ely Animal Hospital

We wish to take this opportunity to welcome you to our veterinary practice, as well as provide you with some introductory information. Judge Ely Animal Hospital has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association since 1984.  We are a full service veterinary hospital with medical, surgical, and dental facilities. We limit our practice to the care and treatment of dogs, cats, and some exotics.

Our regular office hours are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday. Doctor’s hours are by appointment and the telephone is answered 24 hours daily in the event of an emergency or if you have any questions or problems concerning your pet’s care.

    Dr. Melissa K. Worthington, Owner

    Dr. Melissa Worthington is an Abilene native.  She graduated from Hardin Simmons University and completed her Veterinary Medicine degree at Texas A&M graduating with honors in 1993.  She returned to Abilene after graduation and has been a part of Judge Ely Animal Hospital since that time.

  • Dr. Tracy L. Walker

    Dr. Tracy L. Walker

    Dr. Walker joined the Judge Ely Animal Hospital family in August of 2011.  She is originally from Odessa.  She obtained her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2005 from Sul Ross State University and then obtained her Bachelor degree of Animal Science in 2006.  Dr. Walker earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010 from Texas A&M University where she was a member of the National Honor Society.
